This aftermarket TG threaded outer diameter oil seal measures 28mm inner diameter, 42mm outer diameter and 7mm in height, manufactured in black NBR nitrile rubber. It features helical threads on the outer diameter, a double-lip design with garter spring and an internal steel skeleton.

Installation Steps

1. Thoroughly clean the shaft and housing bore; remove all burrs, old seal residue, rust and contamination.
2. Lightly lubricate the sealing lip and shaft with compatible oil. Do not install dry.
3. Press the seal evenly into the housing using a proper installation tool, keeping it perfectly perpendicular to the bore.
4. Do not strike the rubber lip or hammer directly on the seal. Avoid cocking or distorting the threaded outer surface.
5. After assembly, rotate the shaft by hand to check for binding, then inspect for leakage during initial test run.
