Installation Steps

1. Thoroughly clean the drive shaft and transmission housing bore; remove all burrs, old seal residue, rust and contamination.
2. Lightly lubricate the sealing lips and drive shaft with gear oil. Do not install dry.
3. Press the seal evenly into the housing using a proper installation tool, keeping it perfectly perpendicular to the bore.
4. Do not strike the rubber lips or hammer directly on the seal. Note the stepped flange direction during installation.
5. After assembly, check the drive shaft for free rotation, then inspect for oil leakage during initial road test.
