Installation Steps

1. Thoroughly clean the drive shaft and transmission housing bore; remove all burrs, old seal residue, rust and contamination.

3. Press the seal evenly into the housing using a proper installation tool, keeping it perfectly perpendicular to the bore.
4. Do not strike the rubber lips or hammer directly on the seal. Note the stepped flange direction during installation.
