Selection Tips

Installation Steps

1. Thoroughly clean the shaft and housing bore. Remove all burrs, old seal residue, rust and surface contamination.
2. Lightly lubricate the sealing lip and shaft with the same oil or grease used in the assembly. Do not install the seal dry.
3. Press the seal evenly into the housing using a suitable installation tool. Keep the seal perfectly perpendicular to the bore axis.
4. Do not strike the rubber lip or hammer directly on the metal case edge. Avoid cocking or distorting the seal during installation.
5. After assembly, rotate the shaft by hand to check for binding. Inspect for leakage during the initial test run.
