Selection Tips

Confirm shaft ID 120mm, housing OD 150mm, seal height 15/12mm. Select FKM compound for high-temperature or chemically aggressive operating conditions.

Installation Steps

1. Thoroughly clean the shaft and housing bore. Remove all burrs, old seal residue, rust and contamination.
2. Lightly lubricate the sealing lip and shaft with a compatible lubricant. Do not install dry.
3. Press the seal evenly into the housing using a proper installation tool. Keep the seal perfectly perpendicular to the bore.
4. Do not strike the rubber lip or hammer directly on the metal case edge. Avoid cocking or distorting the seal.
5. After assembly, rotate the shaft by hand to check for binding. Inspect for leakage during initial test run.
